The Dream
Began with a Spark
“Growing up, Carson Cook loved baseball. For him, baseball was more than a sport; it was a way to connect, to dream, to build resilience. When he visited Cambodia, he saw the spark in the eyes of young kids who had a deep desire to play, to be a part of something bigger. This was the beginning of Field of Dream.”
Our Story
‘Field of Dream’ began with a shared passion for baseball and a dream to empower young athletes in Cambodia. Carson Cook, a businessman in Nepal from the US, and Brett, a dedicated realtor based in Cambodia from Australia, have teamed up to raise $350,000 to build a professional baseball field for the national team. This project is about more than just sports — it’s about providing opportunities, fostering community, and building a brighter future for Cambodian children.

Why Baseball?
In many parts of the world, baseball is more than a sport. It’s a universal language of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. By building a baseball field, we’re creating a place where Cambodian children can experience all of this and more. The field will foster connections across generations, teaching values of perseverance, courage, and community that last a lifetime.
Why Cambodia?
Cambodia’s youth face many challenges, from economic hardship to limited recreational spaces. This field provides an opportunity for children to escape the pressures of daily life and focus on growth, friendship, and fun. Cambodia was chosen not only for its need but for its rich culture, warm community, and resilient spirit—a perfect place to spark a movement toward unity and development through sports.
